URANIUM is used in ARLINGTON Gas Mining says industry guy

This is the video I took last Friday night at TGIFriday’s in striking up a casual conversation with an industry guy who has worked with Schlumberger and other companies.

After I turned off the camera, he told me of a sleep deprived episode where the uranium tool came out of the ground and he was looking at a “radiating in the open air” event…he said as long as the tool is in the ground, that the uranium is “contained”.

He agreed with me on his dislike for Chesapeake…he also informed me that Arlington has at least 7 housed Compressor Stations hidden nicely away in Walmart looking buildings. He was impressed with how much sound and aesthetics was important to Arlington (Gasland) Texas for those Compressor Stations.

In asking him about our dry gas, he said it was not so dry at around 1,100 btu which means there are other hydrocarbons present that are heavier than methane.

So I will contact this blogger, William Huston,  who has an interest and once blogged “Finally! Proof of the use Depleted Uranium in fracking perf-guns”.

The explosion that causes the hole in the pipe and shale is done with a Perf Gun. Google, Depleted Uranium, and see the dangers. In Iraq , babies are born deformed in massive amounts. The articles claim depleted uranium bombs have caused it. Halliburton has a patient on the Perf gun. It shows depleted uranium disks. When the drillers flair the well, DU goes on the fields, people , animals, & drinking water. You can not be safe under those circumstances. Demand an independent study before the Aquifer is contaminated. The other test is you in the emergency room. Be Pro-Active and not reactive…………………

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog. 1. The effects on this video are distracting. Why not just play it verbatim?

Anyway, what he’s saying is not really correct. I’ve never heard of uranium being used in well-logging. This is normally cesium-137, which is extremely radioactive and dangerous to be around.

The DU is used as a tip to the explosive charge in the fracking perf gun. He might not know about this, because there is a lot of secrecy around this. There are literally hundreds of patents on using DU in this application. However, there is no paper trail. I tried FOILing permits on this from the NRC, and they said “No such records exist” with the caveat “Records may exist, but might be withheld due to national security interests”. Same thing with DOE. No permits.

Which begs the question… how did Schlumberger, Halliburton, Owen Well Tools and many other companies get these patents which use DU in perf guns if there are no permits showing they were licensed to use or transport DU?

It’s still an evolving story, and could use a good investigative journalist to do some digging.

    • I was trying to disguise his identity is why I did all the effects, plus I used to be an artist/musician and gave it up to fight fracking, so I get artsy when the opportunity presents itself…it may hurt my message and then again it may attract people with short attention spans jus looking to be entertained….two ways to capture an audience and let them do more research on their own.
