Fracking easement taking Gas Wars Near Weatherford TX

I cut and paste most revalent for ease of reading on the most recent “Barnett Shale Bullshit”…
A man with the initals, W.G. on facebook wrote...
***GAS WARS***
“…notices that there has been a new gravel based road that cuts from the main road ,across his (distant cousin’s) property to a neighbors property…after following it up over the hill , theres a new Gas well site…the gas company had done this without talking to either of them…..he also took his front end loader and truck and parked them (on his property) right in the middle of the new road, blocking it.
A letter from HIS (own $10,000) atty stating that he should move the obstruction (that was on his own property) and cease and desist from further harrassment or face litigation…Because after the altercation at the pad site, he went to get his gun..”
  • R.C. wrote … “The only time this can be done is if the property owner does not own mineral rights and there is a state law that an easement must be allowed for access when you sign to buy property in Texas.”
  • W.G. wrote “.He was told that they did not need his permission since they had an agreement with the county on the main road side and an agreement on the neighbors side”
  • W.G. wrote But he’s has gone to 2 more law firms who he said initially show great enthusiasm for righting what they see as a clearly defined wrong. But after a week or so of investigation both have advised that they will not take the case. And that if he starts litigation, he will be broke before he could finish what they have started.”

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
