Visitors tailgating at ATT Cowboys Stadium that don’t want HF in their lungs. This line should remain a dance line and not a line up gas chamber style near Urban Drilling.
update May 7 2014 …acetic acid spill in San Antonio at a truck stop…heres the story
….he was probably on his way to deliver this stuff so that wells could be stimulated…oh joy.
We need to ban the use of HF (Hydrofluoric Acid) acidizers in Urban Drilling
(even though its being mainly used in the California Monterey Shale for oilfield applications)
…..I’ve personally been in two lock down events near the refinerys in Norco LA…viewing a white cloud on the other side of a glass window will forever stay in my mind…seeing bank customers keep opening the doors for more people outside in harms way and letting in that “fog” was so surreal…I hope this never happens anywhere in Arlington at any of the 55-60 padistes. Its enough risk in itself in our town that the trains carry hazardous cargo.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrofluoric_acid “Hydrogen fluoride gas is an acute poison that may immediately and permanently damage lungs and the corneas of the eyes. Aqueoushydrofluoric acid is a contact-poison with the potential for deep, initially painless burns and ensuing tissue death. By interfering with body calcium metabolism, the concentrated acid may also cause systemic toxicity and eventual cardiac arrest and fatality, after contact with as little as 160 cm2 (25 square inches) of skin.”
LET THIS BLOG POST SERVE AS PROOF THAT OUR LEADERS IN ARLINGTON WERE FOREWARNED ….
