Energy Companies said to B participating in Emergency Preparedness Drill

This NERC link says https://www.signup4.net/Public/ap.aspx?EID=GRID13E

“This is a simulated exercise to practice crisis response and information sharing.  No real power outages will occur due to this exercise”

Grid EX II blackout exercises planned for 11/13 and 11/14 2013 and the IRS website is already “down”…

Tim Stone , a Euless TX resident and a Swamper at Polaris Oilfield Services wrote (possibly from a related NY Times article) a comment on a DFW Scanner Facebook post on November 6 about the DFW Urban Shield exercise…“I appreciate your information but you failed to mention the GRID EX11 Drill (update this link no longer works!!!) taking place on the 13th and 14th of this month. 15 major Energy Companies as well as over 150 other companies will be taking part in a drill mocking a full power grid shutdown simulating a solar flare or EMP. Power will be shut off for 2-5 days in the majority of the US. The purpose of the drill is to make sure we are better prepared for such a catastrophy and to observe how citizens handle losing means of communication and access to the supply chain. If anyone has a false fact to throw in, all I can say is do your research. Please make sure you are supplied with wood, matches, candles, baby and infant essentials, food, water, warm clothes and blankets, etc. Please spread the word to family and try to stay close to eachother during this drill. Thank you.”

So I will try to contact Tim Stone to let him know about this being a SIMULATED test.

But I do wonder how fast Arlington can buy & install that generator for our water works department that was approved November 5, 2013?

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
