I am so mad at these air polluting companies that are giving our children illness. My son is sick ever since we walked to the car wash and I smelled sulfer in the air. He has a fever of 101.00 and stomach hurts, flu like symptoms. He was fine till after the walk yesterday he started coughing after we came in. He went back outside with his friend when I left to go to grandads. I should of told his daddy to keep him in side. When I called his I heard him coughing and his daddy said he was coughing a lot. Now I have a sick kid… Why do they not have to send out sirens to alert its unsafe to go out!!! Why are we doing this to our kids. Our air is killing kids and they know who is causing it!!”” NOW ITS TIME FOR MAMA TO VENT INSTEAD OF THE 100S OF WELLS ON OAKGROVE AND COMPRESSOR STATION WITH IN A MILE IN THE FIELD ON WICHATA ST. !!!!!!
Me and Alex just walked to the carwash with (pet named) christmas. Mistake cause the smell of natural gas was strong . Its not the first time in that area . Sad enough we may have to wear gas mask to walk in this town. It would be nice if they at least let off an alarm when the wells vent to stay in doors
  • Cyndi ….smells like a deer born heater left on and the last time we smelled suulfer we called the police and they said “Its just wells venting”
  • Kim Feil….there are surrogate gases with methane….I know that refinery smell came back to me when they had a rig up at the GM plant a few years a ago I called 911 and said Arlington smells like refinery row. Those wells vent 24/7…it just depends on the wind speed/direction, humidity, barometic pressure…luck of the draw to breathe if you don’t watch the weather and know where the storage tanks are.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
