Eagleford Consortium “Sustainable Oil and Gas Communities” / ex-Exxon PR exec appointed to TX state water board

Governor Perry appointed Carlos Rubinstein chairman of the Texas Water Development board (TWDB). Carlos will be a guest speaker in San Antonio for the 3rd annual Eagle Ford Consortium along with the Mayor Julian Castro.

The title of the conference is……

“Driving the 21st Century Texas Economy:

 Sustainable Oil and Gas Communities.”

Got $225 to attend?

Washington Times reported (I boldfaced for emphasis)…..”in 2011, Rubinstein was the sole member of the three-commissioner TCEQ to vote against a controversial Houston-area industrial injection well whose investors included donors to Perry’s campaign. The other commissioners approved the well despite the objections of local officials, the Texas Railroad Commission and an administrative law judge who recommended denying the permit because it might pollute groundwater.”

Governor Perry also recently appointed Kathleen Jackson (former Exxon PR executive…go fracking figure) to fill the third TWDB seat. The other seat is occupied by attorney Bech Bruun.

Below is the (gangster…ahum) consortium leadership list that will attempt to reach out to the masses and upsell how the Eagle Ford fossil fool fuels will be….sustainable.

Speaking of sustainable…Last January 2013, Carlos spoke at the Central TX Environmental Summit and introduced Texas Railroad Commissioner David Porter-who  had a terrible time spitting that word out (sustainable), so I made a video…..

Please contact these consortium leaders  listed below that appear on the website of the blasphemously named conference. I have made an easy cut and paste for you here of the email addresses….

jfmadrigal@tamiu.edu,betty.sifuentes@mrgdc.org,bcastaneda@ctaglobal.com,jose@totemstrategies.com,

gilbert.gonzalez@utsa.edu,rene.montalvo@chk.com,jpatterson@safoodbank.org,

raul.perez.mcdc@hotmail.comzcjluna@yahoo.com,tarce@aep.com,ttrevino@aacog.com,

jjhaynes@ranchocolorado.com,silver@qstrategics.com,

Most of us should have concerns about these leader’s involvement in prostituting our air, food, water, health, & livibility of this planet for short lived (dangerous) jobs mining fossil fuels and calling that “sustainable”.

While your’re at it, here is the email for the TWDB  boardmembers@twdb.texas.gov  too.

Almost  1/3 of these board members email addresses do not work on the website…go figure.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
