List of the young dead downwind from Barnett Shale #fracking

4/2017 update I haven’t been keeping this log up but need to put this out there…Arlington police officer, Alan Webb age 45, died of cancer…his subdivision was in the middle of a cluster of 5 padsites and 1 compressor station. His home is approx. west of Hwy 287 and N of W Debbie Lane….cop colon cancer

plus he worked in Arlington Gasland TX….this is so sad! I heard colon cancer takes a while to grow and we’ve been fracking since 2007…so I dunno

“Any environmentally-caused health problems in the very young are the result of a recent insult, while health problems in adults can be a result of a much earlier exposure with a long lag period before the disease is diagnosed,” Mangano notes. “The very young are most susceptible to the harmful effects of environmental radiation, so any unusual patterns in morbidity or mortality would show up quickest in these groups.”

end update

This is a WIP WorkInProgress…it is not an exhaustive list on the contrary, I cannot view these on a daily basis (my heart cannot take this), nor is the public coronors report a complete list which is another reason I don’t want to put a whole lot of energy into this.

The death reports mostly do not list cause of death, so I rely on obituary comments or police reports to tell me if it was suicide that I like to call possibly “shaleacide” (view that WIP list here), or if they suffered long (cancer/leukemias), or if it was sudden (lung or brain clots).

This list doesn’t account for Shaleinfantcide (thats a whole another WIP task force required) or for those dying young who live NOT SO CLOSE that may work or go to school near a drill site (WITHIN A HALF MILE).

But chances are that if you are lucky enough to not have to live within a half mile near gas production sites, then you either go to school, work, or church (that sold their souls) near drill sites in the DFW Barnett Shale.

I do not include accidents obviously and I also try not to include the overweight males who died of coronary issues, but more info is coming out about heart disorders near drilling too (such as my blog on thin and athletic RIP young Clay York of Ft Worth).

The focus here is to see if there is a cancer uptick in urban drilling areas. Ground zero seems to be Denton as Texas Sharon reported it is leading the nation as a cause of death as opposed to heart disease.

Here is another

UNcomfortable point I want to make on the topic of young deaths dues to

UNknown or

(UN)natural causes…..

UNtil UNT, UTArlington, TCC etc.. or heaven forbid the State Dept of Health (that we pay taxes to) or any responsible entity that has the manpower to compare preshale drilling young deaths stats to post shale drilling young deaths (to see if there is stastical difference per percentage to the population), we

UNknowing of the real risk, live amongst these

Unconventional gaswells.

Will urban drilling one day soon be known for they die young living near them?

If your loved one is on this list, please feel free to bitch at me or add useful info, thanks.

BEGIN the list…….it is interesting to note proximity to drill sites to the red ballons that show where they “LIVED”.

How sad that this North Texans For Natural Gas ad appears on this page….seriously!

Parker Cole age 12, her mother died six years earlier in Ft Worth…both cited under “natural causes”. This case got its own blog page….

This next case was very personal to me. Please read on to find out why…

12/15/2013 glioblastoma is one of those brain cancers that claimed the life of nine year old Zander Jaggers of Ft Worth… Screen shot 2014-06-17 at 11.29.46 AM

As I hoped he died of some freak accident since he lived so close to the gaswells, I turned on my video recorder just before I found the Caringbridge post and I became hysterical (I was later asked to remove the video and I did) when I found that this boy died within two months of his diagnosis ….I have to deal with walking away from further testing my teen for a possible brain tumor called pheochromocytoma based on my pediatricians call in conjunction with a conversation with some doctors at Cook Childrens about his case. Recently I took him to an adrenal doc who refused to see him until he’s 18 years old.

Christopher Abbott, age 34, died suddenly (12/13/13) from a blood clot to the lung…he left behind three children, two parents, and four siblings. He was surrounded by gaswells and near a huge compression station.

I have blogged about the mass deaths of birds in Arlington near gas wells with a similar condition of bleeding in the lungs.

RIP Aug 2012 Le Ann Bloom from Flower Mound…breast cancer…there is an admittance from the state health dept that there is a clancer cluster is her zip code 75028 and 75022.

A teacher from Bailey Jr High where my son went to school died 5 months after they fracked five wells downwind from the school.  A sudden brain aneurism took the life of Caron D’Anne Stuteville on 6/23/2011…the students and family are heart broken.

She also lived by the gaswells and suspect toxic drilling mud farming too….

Lynette O’Neill died at the young age of 48. The coronors report shows that the place of death was a hospice facility so she probable died of cancer.

Her home was sold to another family a year later whose loved one(s) may one day be on this list?

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
