Teri Anglim lost her nusiance suit as stated in the Star Telegram article….
“In the Anglim suit, the judge asked only if Chesapeake’s conduct was abnormal and out of place in its surroundings, and if so to assess damages.”
“The Anglim jury also answered “no” that Chesapeake’s conduct was abnormal or out of place.” I’ll restate that another way that….
The Anglim jury answered “yes” that Chesapeake’s conduct was normal (trespass polluting as it is)
The Anglim jury answered “yes” that Chesapeake was not out of place in it’s surroundings (a wtf moment).
I’d say the haphazardly way they conduct their business is normal (they don’t use Best Available emission Technologies), and that their location being in a residential area is totally and blantantly out of place in its surroundings…geeze come on, what the frack does it take? THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA!
Here are pictures of how close she lives to a drill site….note the red balloon.
If I were Teri, I’d at least take them to small claims court. Property valuation records show that from 2012 to 2013 a decline in value by 5.5%.
