BREITLING ENERGY fails again as The Guardian reported.. “The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that a US energy company misled the public when it made unsubstantiated claims about the benefits of fracking and claimed a gas shortage put the UK close to catastrophe.”
Back in 2012 I contacted Breitling Oil & Gas CEO/Chairman, Chris Faulkner, who never followed up on a promise to help me talk to someone high up in Chesapeake Energy actually “DID” responded stating he would ask Cheasapeake on my behalf (I was wanting them to use CLOSED, pressurized, ventless, flowback tanks in my neighborhood). He initially responded…
“I received your email. I have shared it with a close friend at CHK and she will be addressing this. Except a reply.
I will work hard for you.”
I bet the “close friend at Chesapeake” was Julie Wilson..pssft…
Six months later, he stopped responding.
Earlier in his career, Mr Faulkner was doing something non-fossil fool related, but has a history of
“..broke promises about how often sites it hosted would be operational and
how often data would be backed up, among other things.”
Somehow broken promises has a great fit in the gas mafia as Mr Faulkner is now a known name in the industry with their endless KRLD ads….oooh what money can buy!
Later Breitling Oil & Gas changed their name. They never responded on FB as to why they did that. In this statement, which is as clear as mud, the original business plan was shifted to “Crude Energy LLC” …lovely name.
Around the time of the name change I complained on their Facebook about this one pose where his pretty, female clerks were seated while he stood in all of his glorious “manly authority” … in an
insanely plush office… all safe and secure away from …
harmless flowback “steam”…yeah right
(Not sure if this pic shows the frac pool to be holding fresh water or if thats flowback water-either way its permanently fracked water)
Back to My Broken Promise story….
Here are my emails from Chris for the record… I guess he really only just has money and….no power. He even said that he
“sat on the board with some folks from CHK”.
I really trusted he could help us…help my family to be protected from Chesapeake’s short cuts$$ in using old school open hatch flowback tanks when they should be using closed ones.

Update…we have been living within a mile of about 100 wells and within 1/2 mile of the Cowboy Stadium Chesapeake drill site….my husband now has cancer and my teen may have a brain tumor-he had to be retested as his VMA level was double the norm.
Did you ever get in touch with Chesapeake to ask them on my behalf to flowback into closed, pressurized flowback tanks?

Subject: lesson from UK in Banning Breitling Energy from false advertisments
Please rethink and research ads from the fossil fuel industry…they are getting desperate in seeing their business models be phased out for renewables.
Here are two recent media events you need to be aware of…

https://barnettshalehell.wordpress.com/2014/08/08/ng-storage-refill-shortfall-prompts-caution-yet-foreign-investments-surge/
I remain dedicated to the truth in what natural gas is leading us to…extinction…there is a reason I do this full time w/o pay…
I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a musician (who no longer plays cause this takes all my time/energy)…lastly I (like you) am a citizen of this biosphere.
If the KRLD am 1080 and CBS/DFW mission statement includes protecting such citizens…then you will refuse and at least research the veracity of your energy customers advertising on your stations, thank you.
