Sue Barnett Drill Site Arlington Town Hall Meeting w/ Councilman Rivera

Here is a follow up meeting link for the town hall of April 21, 2015 – another meeting is scheduled for early May on a Saturday.

Lot’sa footage to digest of the “vocal venting event”, but here is some of the April 9, 2015 packed town hall meeting clips. The meeting was called by Councilman Robert Rivera in response to the “barrage” of complaints of this active Sue Barnett padsite in the drilling phase. Thanks loads to “boots on da ground” Jane Lynn for visiting with the neighbors and getting exposed herself during what I’ll blatantly call a…..

Sue Barnett site plan that includes a drilling killing spree.

They re-scheduled the meeting for next Tues., 4/21 at 6:00 or 6:30 pm at 5,000 S Collins at the Arlington Airport meeting space.

Councilman Rivera announced that he signed off as being one of the only north Texas council people on the Environment Texas petition to denounce HB40 which will strip local gov of control of these drill sites…..I commented that even if wekeep control, we are back to square one with a council full of pro fracking voters.

Here is a link to a lady I videoed when she testified her dog and a friend’s dog and a cat went blind after drilling came in.

Then there was the footage of those complaining about subsidence and sink holes…

So I had to pinch myself to know that I was in Arlington cause all these years I was thinking fracking only bothered a handful of us…tide’s a turning ya’ll!

Here is some footage of people in NC testifying against fracking…

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
