UPDATE 6/17/2015  So it was the 8H well that was being fracked on April 11 2015 that also started to leak due to a failed component.

And on March 10, 2015 it was the north 4H well that had a leak at the blender tub……nice work Urban Drillers Killers.

Ms. Feil,
I believe I miss-spoke about the slide initially. I was trying to show a picture of 7H, which was tested as a comparative sample with 8H, and 8H’s failed components. The 8H was the problem and the failed mandrel has been documented as the cause.
Thank you,
Jim

The 7H was being fracked and yet the 8H was the leaker?
Or did you mean to say 8H was being fracked?
Can you revisit with the driller which well exactly had the issue?
Trying to see if 7H communicated with 8H like in Pantego they said the newer wells started communicating with the older wells.

UPDATE 6/16/2015 the day session City Council meeting consisted of a re-briefing and because of WFAA Bret Ships persistence in info gathering, there was an admittance of a prior fluid release on the 4H well back on March 10 2015 …

DSCN1790

Jim Self handed this to me today when I asked which well was involved in the March LABC fluid release…but Brett Ship commented that they (AFD?) wouldn’t have known about this event if he hadn’t told them/requested all those PIR’s. I asked if the March event would have ever been uncovered had it not been for the big April 11th event..but got no answer.

Thanks to Jane Lynn for breaking the story on the Sue Barnett site trucks not following their designated route… and as for the LABC citation # 300005428 …not sure of that amount (up to $2,000 per each offense probably)….but Chief Self said that the cost recovery to the city the Vantage drillers paid for the LABC incident was in the amount of $83,703.00.

UPDATE June 1 2015 AFD incident report…

labc incident 3016_Little_Rd

UPDATE May 29 2015 the Community Development & Planning Dept that oversee the gas well inspectors sent me three files of field notes of which one was typed and I feel was edited and I have asked for the original hand written one.

RE: Public Records Request for Fire records

Dear Feil Kim,

The City has reviewed your request for copies of public information. Section 552.2615 of the Texas Government Code requires that a governmental body provide a requestor with an itemized statement of estimated charges if charges for public information will exceed $40.

Itemized estimated charges:

Other Electronic Media: $5.00 The charge for labor costs incurred in processing a request for public information. The labor charge includes the actual time to locate, compile, manipulate data, and reproduce the requested information: $300.00 The overhead charge shall be computed at 20% of the charge made to cover any labor costs associated with a particular request. Example: if one hour of labor is used for a particular request, the formula would be as follows: Labor charge for locating, compiling, and reproducing, $15.00 x .20 = $3.00; or Programming labor charge, $28.50 x .20 = $5.70. If a request requires one hour of labor charge for locating, compiling, and reproducing information ($15.00 per hour); and one hour of programming labor charge ($28.50 per hour), the combined overhead would be: $15.00 + $28.50 = $43.50 x .20 = $8.70. : $15.00

Total: $320.00

Please note that under the Texas Public Information Act these records are also available for inspection. Although there may be some costs associated with inspecting, these costs are likely to be significantly less than those associated with receiving copies of the responsive records. You may visit our offices during business hours and inspect the documents. It is strongly suggested that you make an appointment.

You, the requestor, must respond to this notice in writing, either by mail, in person, by facsimile, or by electronic mail. If your written response is not received within ten business days after the date this statement was sent, your request will be considered to have been automatically withdrawn. In your response, you must state that you:

(A) Will accept the estimated charges:
(B) Are modifying the request in response to the itemized statement; or
(C) Have sent to the Texas Attorney General’s Office a complaint alleging that you have been overcharged for being provided with a copy of the public information.

Please note that if the total cost estimate exceeds $100, work will not begin until a deposit has been paid. A deposit of 50% must be received before work will begin.

Sincerely,

Mary Nicholls

KIM NOTES…The toxic flowback frack water moved from filling the cellars on the padsite… to spilling into the storm sewers and flowed into Rush Creek. The firechief spoke of the demarcation lines 9-12 inches where the waters  rose.

It flowed through the neighborhoods, past the golf course,
to north Arlington via Village Creek which then goes into
Trinity River which then on Google Earth appears to start traveling back to the south and passes close to Richland Chambers water body and Cedar Creek (both drinking water reservoirs that supply the metroplex. It (the Trinity River) continues to Lake Livingston and then on to
Barge Bayou and finally into the Gulf.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
