The red balloon (in above pictures) is near where sewer water overflowed from a wastewater collection facility that occurred on May 29 2015 and for the next FOUR to FIVE DAYS …but good news (I bold faced) from our water director…

Subject: Re: is that sewer leak near Lake Arlington still ongoing?
Is/did it go into our lake?
If it is still ongoing, then when will it b fixed and what measures are being taken to divert if from going into our lake?

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DRILL SITES? In the pic below you can clearly see a drill site nearby…did those flood and run off into our lake?…
One teaspoon of Benzene contaminates about 261,000 gallons of water…. and we have a lot of water at risk near all of our Texas and Oklahoma drill sites.
Dallas-Forth Worth — Wettest May on record (16.96 inches)
Dallas Fort-Worth — Second wettest spring (March-May, 25.05 inches)
Yet this Yahoo article below is the only coverage I’ve seen that addresses a preventative approach to shut in wells and fill storage tanks with water so they don’t float away….but this is in North Dakota and so us Texans are too proud to admit we have to sleep in a soggy bed we made and hope the poisons stay in the ground and in the storage tanks.
Yesterday at the flood briefing at the Arlington City Council day session meeting….NOBODY expressed any concern for flooded drill sites.
IN ARLINGTON TX we had:
27 barricaded streets,
at least 5700 drainage complaints,
about 2,400 structures within a flood plain and of those,
860 lots are on record of having structures that flooded.
I put out some Public Information Requests and await the city’s response.
Here is one response that I received from our water utilities department…
Above is a picture from Facebook of Lake Arlington posted on May 29 which is the same day the sewer waste water leak was reported.
UPDATE One of my PIR is to know if these blockaded streets were the routes that the frack trucks take to remove the toxic water from those storage tanks…if the streets were flooded then the drillsites were too? We need some drone footage of these sites!!! Here is the city’s response….
