“First upstream (mining) financial woes, now midstream (pipeline/compression/transportation) woes….hah the people control the downstream demand for fossil fuels…in the end WE WILL move to sustainable, renewable energy choices because they make financial sen$e as sun, win, & water are free energy inputs. Plus the reliable/safer jobs are there (not boom & bust either) in this conversion quest of mammoth proportions… big oil & gas needs to change their business models or get out of the way…either way end users of fossil fuels will decide their fate by their demand & choices for their energy needs”.
Here is yet another chance to comment…
“Methane losses from cradle/upstream to grave/downstream speed up our climate’s warming…when they want to shut down coal plants and replace them with “clean burning” natural gas fired compressors…you have to call bullstuff on that cause NG only burns 50% cleaner and then there are the leaks….And that ex-gubnor Perry tries his hand on the board for Energy Transfers Partners and is helpn to shove the Trans-pecos pipeline down our throats from TX to Mexico (which has the appearance that we might export from there)…its time to say no more…cheap gasoline doesn’t pay the medical bills…we are headed to China’s pollution problem…just look at the metroplex’s skyline and know we’re breathing that brown stuff”.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
