600 ft from on campus storage tanks is the TCEQ Air Monitoring Station. Note the Nov & Dec ppb Benzene show a spike when the winds die down
Nov 12 from 7pm to 11 pm Benzene spike after winds die down note at 6 pm the build up effect may have taken an hour to reach the air monitor.
7pm-3am on Dec 1 & 2 Benzene is spiking for 8 straight hours!
Dec 1 & 2 Benzene spikes coincide with low/no winds to disperse it
December 4 resultant winds at one mph coming from east at 8 am blowing almost directly to air monitor which is northeast of the storage tanks/could also be the morning pollution or a compressor blowdown
Dec 6 spike happens at 8 pm, the system goes down for maintenance but the wind monitor comes back up at 10 pm and shows low winds
This is the time of morning where meteorological conditions make air pollution the worst/cooling inversion?..This spike at 7 am could also be a blow down of their compressors.
After 6pm you see the Benzene spiking with the winds decreasing
Benzene spike continuing from December 10th into Dec 11
