Turns out the Sandridge company is getting into trouble over their non-compliance to injection well use….#hand-slap? The link to this video and other tweets and the Sandridge story here on NewsOak.com.
Earlier I blogged about Oklahoma asking for those operators for compliance in injecting into the Arbuckle formation…now we have this Mississippi Lime “problem” where each bbl of oil produces about 10 bbl of brine.
Another high brine (produced water) producer is coal bed methane …..Coal Bed Methane represents only 2.4% of global gas production, yet accounts for an estimated 67% of the global ‘produced water’ that gets disturbed, brought up, and needs to be disposed of properly (to later cause frackquakes).
