I responded to the related youtube video where an Arlington resident is claiming to be experiencing odors strong enough to awake her at 4:30 AM on 12/28/15.
On December 30, 2015… “I called the City of Arlington and spoke to Collin Gregory to ask why our city website is not updated with what stage this pad site activity is in. He said that Vantage is fracking 9 wells at the Lenox site. They started in the first part of December and should flowback all the wells thereafter which will then take a month and half so it will be mid-March maybe when the work is done. I asked him when they have to shut down at night and he said 8 pm. The radioactive fracking sand flying around (happy glowing with NORM) should be mitigated with pillowcase looking frack socks and I asked Collin to make sure they are using those and even suggested they wet down flying particulates. Flowback can go 24 hours – then you’ll see those hydrocarbons and steam from temp differentials-hot down there, cold outside….the city ordinance says the wellhead cannot vent to the atmosphere, (but once routed to a piping system- indirect venting is OK via the OPEN hatch storage tanks……yes a fracking City of Arlington LOOPHOLE). TCEQ told me they cannot close the hatches on those storage tanks because it is under pressure….(BOOM)…there are better, more expensive ventless tanks that have to be pressurized …but the city doesn’t mandate that, nor the state…so sorry the families have to endure this…they like to do work on weekends and holidays, please call TCEQ to come and do some air monitoring 817 588-5800 – ask for the Barnett Shale dept….please send me whatever info they send you-thanks”.

This is so sad and why I fight this so fracking hard!
