update June 1 2016, DONE…..it is law now that they can WAIT the 20th day of the following month to report their spills….lovely!!
They must be fracking-waste-related-spilling so reliably often …how bout’ let’s just make it easier to report it monthly (instead of within 24 hours) wow!
And if the drillers start treating more waste water, (cause injection wells = too many frack quakes), then it will be easier for them too?
|SB 912: Volume-Based Exemptions for Certain Accidental Discharges
The rulemaking would implement SB 912 by amending 30 TAC Chapters 305 and 327. Specifically, volume-based exemption from reporting requirements for certain accidental discharges or spills from wastewater facilities.
