Poor AND live by a fracking site? The government has a Clean Energy Incentive Program for low income areas that they will be taking public comment on for you to provide input as to how much money should be in this federal program.
Lets AskChesapeake to apply for matching allowance$$$$ under the CEIP to enclose ALL their storage tanks & lift compressors, employ gas busters to suck up emissions, and then safely install solar panels on all of these newly built solar-panel-ready structures.
If feasible, this will serve at least three purposes:
- clean up the localized airshed emissions (cut down on ozone too) coming off of these padsites. This should also include other (qualifying) related oil & gas infrastructures such as lift stations, compressor/dehydrator stations, & gas plants,
- create jobs
- go towards the units needed to participate in the Paris Climate Accord that Trump isn’t on board with.….Reuters reported, “A renegotiation of the pact would be a major setback for what was hailed as the first truly global climate accord, committing both rich and poor nations to reining in the rise in greenhouse gas emissions blamed for warming the planet”.
If we start with two high profile padsites like in Arlington Texas, we may be able to get media attention to jump start other locations. This can help other drilling operators to take notice and take action while reducing allowable costs involved in needing to be compliant to existing federal (CPP Clean Power Plan) and global (warming) initiatives. The Chesapeake Truman & Chesapeake General Motors padsites near the ATT Stadium, Rangers Stadium, & Six Flags near Arlington Texas’ Entertainment District are in low income areas….
So what if Bernie is NOT the candidate for president, we can at least thank his staff for directing us to this program. From there we ALL should comment on having adequate funds for this idea.
Heres to HOPING the frackers and our fracked up Texas representatives meet the requirements and buy into job creation to support their fossil fuel ADDICTIONS imposed in low income communities.
What you don’t see or smell at these storage tanks CAN still expose you….

Message: Please help me contact Chesapeake and the EPA for the feasibility of
of covering frack site infrastructures in low income areas so that solar
panels can be installed and create jobs while improving air quality and
meeting Clean Power Plan and CLimate Accord goals.
