Comments being archived from WFAA Brett Shipp Water Contamination recent complaints

WE LIVE IN A POST FLINT WORLD…I HAVE TO MAKE A RECORD OF THESE UNCONFIRMED COMMENTS….this is evidence that may be needed one day…soon.
————————–
WFAA Brett Shipp reported on April 8 2016 of water quality and health complaints from a common water well system shared in an unincorporated residential development, Chisholm Springs, which is north of Fort Worth.
I rechecked the comments on the first report and an unconfirmed response to this story is worthy of reposting …..FYI this comment is from a Henderson County resident which is southeast of the metroplex……

“We have been dealing with this problem for going on over two decades or we live in Henderson County and it is ridiculous I have a daughter that was born with neurological problems we get dizzy we get headaches we have health problems and they always told us our water was safe and they call it burn out but they have to do it by law but sometimes the water and our faucets and bathtubs smell exactly like the pool water does outside and this has been going on for over two decades and now not only does my daughter that was born here have neurological problems and several doctors that she has to see now me and my husband have health problems due to this and we were always told it was safe so what do we do about it because something needs to be done my brother and my sister also lives in the same neighborhood and other neighbors complain about it too sometimes it’s not as strong sometimes it’s so strong you can’t stand it we buy bottled water two cases a month but still it’s not enough we pay $80 or more a month for our water bill and they’re charging us to make us sick”
On a June 3 2016 follow up Brett Shipp report, water complaints extended beyond Chisholm Springs.  UTA CLEAR tested the water and found  excessive chlorine, minerals and metals at levels not fit for consumption. So I rechecked the comments of the follow up WFAA report and found these unconfirmed comments…

“same thing for the hills of springwood between mansfield and Venus. High bad smell bad taste and when pool kit is used it turns bright yellow. Nothing new for us it has been that way for 15 years and the state does nothing”.

“I was wondering if others experienced this… Sounds like we are not the anomally I thought we were. Guy James Ranch is the same”.

“In Boyd, the water is very salty, noticed it on my visits in the last year. There is something going on”.

“I live off of HWY 287 and 114 and monthly I have to clear out the strainer on the cold side going into our washer. The material looks like rust and has a metalic feel to it. There are a least three oil or gas wells within a 1/4 mile of my house and it is serviced by Auqa. Just last month we recieved a letter from Auqa saying our water may have been contaminated. My wife will be posting the letter in the near future”.

“We are up in the same area of Tarrant County and our water is supplied by Aqua Texas. We can tell the water has become increasingly worse in the nines years we have lived there. Would love to have a resolution, besides going on Fort Worth City water”.

Subject: Brett Shipp’s recent water contamination reporting
I predict it is only a matter of time before these water complaint issues extend to surface water that municipalities treat that is fed through ground water sources…..Lake Arlington (recharged with rain water) is not insulated from fracking related ground water risk because of the laterals underneath and the padsites on the Ft Worth side. Then north of lake we have the power plant and compressor stations (and claims of a cancer cluster – which reminds me to inform you that our young Micah Ahern is soon to be on hospice-and lets not forget the kid whose parents moved him away from Tiffany Lane who also lived near the lake who needed that bone marrow transplant)….will Arlington take care of this valuable water source? How to unfrack these things? Have Simmons do a health inventory of that area.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
