Enervest looking to unload in OK & AR so what about UT Arlington’s gas wells?

Ever get the feeling the future finds us too fracking fast? Council expressed concerns years ago about new operators taking over older padsites; thats where I learned of the term “2.nd tier operators/drillers”.
Recently council was correct to be worried about drillers going bankrupt  ($25 billion in TX in the last 18 months impressive Enuff 4 U?) and then who would restore these padsites?
Never U mind the UTA padsite is a state own facility/lease and so the city doesn’t even INSPECT this (Carrizo-now-Envervest) padsite….the state does.

Third tier here we come?
UTA padsite was Carrizo, now Enervest…and next?

Collin Gregory pacified council members with assurance that the state can always take over abandoned padsites...but the state says they cannot keep up with bankrupt operators who cannot afford to plug their wells.

About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
