Pictures of Lake Arlington Flooding

UPDATE: Bluestone withdrew its request for injection well near Lake Arlington.

——————

Here is the proposed location of the BlueStone Resources Injection Well where the red flag is. Note the lines under the lake, our drinking water source, is littered up with gas well laterals under the lake…the City of Ft Worth and Arlington promoted Urban Drilling and now the devil has come to collect their greed money in the form of human risk to our drinking water supplies. #karmaSux

Please attend stakeholder meeting Thursday, April 20 6-8pm at Handley Meadowbrook Community Center at 6201 Beaty St in Ft Worth TX.

Originally I went out there to see if the drill sites on the Ft Worth side that are too fracking close to the lake’s edge were flooding. Here is a Google earth image of the fence I took pictures of at the Wilbarger street entrance of the Quicksilver gate.

And here is the flooding pictures I took on Nov 28, 2015 of the Quicksilver entrance at Wilbarger….

So the above pictures at the Quicksilver site (see the flooded white trailer?) had me thinking at least one or all of those drill sites on the Ft Worth side has flooded and is probably communicating with Lake Arlington? #ONLYaDRONEcanTELLus?

When I was to the northwest of the lake I was at Henco & near 2700 Quail road….. note the drill site ? This is a Google Earth shot looking north….

It would stand to reason that the drill site a block north was affected by flood waters.

UPDATE: 4/22/2017

Per a KERA news report on a community meeting for this injection well location, Mary Kelleher (mentioned earlier in this blogpost), spoke of a TRWD protest letter and was quoted…..

“I just want y’all to know that our agency is totally opposed to this injection well,” Kelleher said.

My concern at that meeting that KERA recently reported on was about proximity and flooding https://barnettshalehell.wordpress.com/2017/04/17/pictures-of-lake-arlington-flooding-savelakearlington-stopbluestone/ as well as a history we’ve already had with the “then” Quicksilver padsite workover mishap when someone forgot to close the valve and overnight toxic waste waters went into Lake Arlington back in July of 2010…https://barnettshalehell.wordpress.com/2014/05/24/nuisance-when-we-drank-frack-water-arlington-residents-july-2010/. About Kim Triolo Feil

Since TX Statute 253.005 forbids drilling in heavily settled municipalities, I unsuccessfully ran for City Council Seat to try to enforce this. Since Urban Drilling, our drinking water has almost tripled for TTHM's. Before moving to Arlington in 1990, I lived in Norco’s “cancer alley”, a refinery town. It was only after Urban Drilling in Arlington did I start having health effects. After our drill site was established closest to my home, the chronic nosebleeds started. I know there are more canaries here in Arlington having reactions to our industrialized airshed (we have 55-60 padsites of gas wells). Come forward and report to me those having health issues especially if you live to the north/northwest of a drill site so I can map your health effects on this blog.
