Subject: LINK to TCEQ flowback notification-how 2 tie this 2 our city website?
update 9/3/13 my state rep, Diane Patrick, met with me after my second attempt to contact her for help…her staff spoke with City Planner, Jim Parajon, who finally ADMITTED THAT THEY ARE NOT PRIVEY TO FLOWBACK DATES.
update as of 12/7/2012, I’m still in the dark as to when the last well will be flowed back….and still watching wind directions and wind speeds in case they are.
After being such a conscientious and pleasant, helpful resource, Collin (city gas well coordinator) must have felt thrown under the bus when I told council (and a not pleased Mayor) that he agreed with me that a FLIR camera was appropriate for gas well inspections. Thats a real expensive camera to detect invisible hydrocarbons-but our city is cheap when it comes to public protections in Urban Drilling. Since then, Collin just wasn’t there for me. He was regularily copied on issues and my petition about the upcoming FLOWBACK BY THE COWBOY STADIUM REGARDING……
1) Stale flowback that risks (H2S) well souring in not flowing back those wells in August
2) Chesapeake using old school, rural, cheap OPEN HATCH flowback tanks, when the appropriate technology exists to flowback hydrocarbons into closed, pressurized flowback tanks
Since Chesapeake testified that the pipeline would be complete at the end of December, I was shocked when Collin returned my second follow up call to find out that two wells had already been flowed back and I never received this notification. (see 9/11/12 email* asking if they were flowing back) So I visited his supervisor, Jim Parajon,
Chesapeake was in violation of their permit in NOT sending the city a calendar of flowback truck activity for the “alleged Oct 2012 flowback date”. I have asked to be forwarded all calender information IN ADVANCE-especially for flowback dates. In this video below, Jim Parajon, will not address my concerns for…
1) getting no info/calendar in advance,
2) receiving the wrong date info from Collin Greggory, and then
3) making “me” try to contact what is a known non responsponsive Chesapeake entity.
In this video Jim threatened to have me removed from City Hall and felt like he could dictate where I stood or sat in the public waiting room in the Planning and Zoning Department after he threw me out of the meeting room. The Chesapeake contact person has yet to return my call to confirm the flowback dates. After two years of trying to communicate with Chesapeake, why would they return my calls or emails now? Urban Drilling = Fail in ArlingtonGaslandTexas.
Still unsettled matter of if the city ever took baseline air testing and flowback air testing as promised in a meeting I had with Collin over the summer when I reveiwed the MSDS sheets…..

Subject: Fwd: how do I request an old Arlington mineral water well plug record?
Meeting of the (pro drilling in urban areas $$) District 1 minds.
Former Councilman Mel (meth) Leblanc and current Councilman, Charlie Parker, met this morning (Nov 5 2012) ….. at least Mel can’t complain about the “open meetings” restraints….I bet Joe Bruner (former councilman) wished he were there so we’d have the complete “set”….guarantee ya that Charlie will be reporting back to Joe at the Farmers Market. Charlie is a regular there-loves the tomatoes and the chat sessions with Joe, who endorsed both Mel and Charlie in their election campaigns.
Joe Bruner as pictured on the right, laid off Chesapeake rep on the left.
——update—– here are the comments on this between Charlie and myself …….
charlie parker says:
Kim I really feel very sorry for you. You must understand that the filming of someone without their knowledge is against the law. Yet here it is on your blog. You have been thrown out of the farmers market for being a nut job and now this. You should seek professional help. Mel did and it seems to be doing him some good. That was the reason for the meeting, nothing more than that. If your nice to him, he might give you the number of the therapist.

Charlie you call me a nutjob?…Farmer Joe had to make his move to pick an allegiance once things went south between us…recall you sent that email to our gas drilling staff person that you are not responding to me as a constituent? I made Joe’s decision easy to get rid of me by copying him on an email about my frantic fight to prevent the upcoming toxic flowback scheduled IN OPEN HATCH FLOWBACK TANKS OF STALE 3 MONTH OLD PLUS FRACK FLUIDS in my neighborhood…so why call me a nutjob when you should be doing YOUR JOB?
All I have ever asked you for since you’ve been in office is to help me contact Chesapeake about those flowback tanks.
Joe’s Downtown Farmers Market is supported by the Downtown Arlington Management group who gets Chesapeakish cash like the Champion level membership fees of “…$2,500 Major commercial building owners or property management companies, real estate firms, financial institutions, utility companies, and natural gas companies”. Heck Tony Rutigliano, President & CEO of Downtown Arlington Management” usta work for Chesapeake… and before that he worked for the City of Arlington.
…follow the money….citizens don’t count
